Fall Wedding at Union Station in Northampton, Massachusetts

This past October, Heather and Zach decided to have a vintage-inspired wedding at the most stunning venue in Northampton, MA called Union Station. It's located right next to the Northampton train station and is itself the site of a former train station, built in the late 1800s. This wasn't your typical vintage Pinterest wedding, however. They went all-in on the vintage theming from a traditional swing band to a page boy outfit for their ring bearer and thrifted finds adorning the tabletops.

Not only did Union Station serve as the perfect backdrop for their vintage wedding dreams, but it also happened to be the site of their engagement. Zach popped the question down the bike path on the bridge next to Union Station and they had dinner there as well to celebrate the occasion!

To start off the day, Heather and her bridal party got ready in the room above Union Station while Zach and his groomsmen suited up at Heather and Zach's home in Agawam.

Then, they headed off to Abbey Chapel at Mount Holyoke College for their ceremony. This beautiful college campus is home to Zach's office working in the media department. I'll let the images speak for themselves, but seriously this is a gorgeous interfaith chapel!

They couldn't have asked for a more perfect fall day in New England for their family photos after the ceremony. I have to admit that I was a little worried that the leaves wouldn't change in time for their wedding in October because they were super late this year, but in central Massachusetts fall was in full swing by the time their wedding rolled around, lending itself to gorgeous foliage and mild temperatures.

Because I'm a crazy person when it comes to getting through family photos in a flash (pun intended) we were quickly off to Union Station once again where the wedding party had plenty of time to enjoy some incredible hors d'oeuvres and cocktails then I stole Heather and Zach for a few more photos at the bridge where they got engaged - right next door to Union Station.

Next, we kicked off the reception with speeches from the best man and maid of honor as well as the first dance and a special group family dance in lieu of traditional parent dances.

And then to end the night, the guests danced away to the swing band, had their tarot cards read, indulged in sweets, and made good use of the photo booth complete with vintage props!

Congratulations Heather and Zach!
